ABEL FLY REEL #3  WITH GRAPHICS This is an Abel #3 fly reel, 3 ¾” in diameter, with the original “Caribbean” pattern of graphics applied at the factory.  This in as early pattern, emphasizing red, blue, and gold colors integrated into the finish of the reel.  Very attractive and unusual.  The reel holds lines up to 10wt.  Suitable for salt water and fresh water.  The reel is set up for right hand wind.  It has the saw tooth drag plate, so a second drag plate must be obtained from Abel to change to left hand wind. Comes with original fabric pouch and a serviceable line, probably 8wt floating.  The condition of this reel is outstanding. Serial number 4037.
