ORVIS BATTENKILL IMPREGNATED BAMBOO FLY ROD Here is a very nice Orvis Battenkill 2-piece. 2-tip rod, 8’ and weighing 4 3/8 ounces as marked. Serial number is 56030. Marked for a GBF 8 weight line, but these rods are usually fished with a lighter line, as is often the case with Orvis Battenkills. Condition is excellent with finish, all wraps, cork, ferrule fit, and hardware in fine shape. Comes in original Orvis tapered bag and marked tube. This rod has the old Abercrombie and Fitch price sticker on the rod cap. The original price is obscured, however.
