BILL EDWARDS “QUADRATE” BAMBOO FLY ROD, 8’6” FOR A 6wt Classic Bill Edwards quad recently restored by Steve Blake.  This is a powerful rod, quick to pick line up off the water, and get it back on the water with a minimum of fuss.  Model number is 35, silks are brown, ferrules are bright, tips are a slender 6/64”.  Steve’s finish work is a delight.  The rod has the original Bakelite up-locking reel seat that Edwards designed, a 6” half-Wells grip, Bakelite winding check, Perfection stripper, blued steel snakes and tip-tops.  The bag is new and the tube is the correct Peerless.
